Great Weekend!

We had so much fun this weekend!

On Saturday, we went to the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children’s Celebration of Life. They do this each year for their current and former oncology patients. Some of the kids have been off treatment for over 15 years and it is SO cool to see. What is also great is that this is our 4th year there, so we have seen some of the same kids over the years. I love seeing how much they have grown and changed. Also, this year was the first time that Merry came with us and helped us give out shirts. She is an amazing help! This is definitely one of the harder events that we do, but it is definitely one of the most beautiful.

On Sunday, we did our first Komen Race for the Cure and it was fantastic. This was the biggest event that we have done and it was so much fun. I brought Zach, my 14 year old and Merry and they were incredibly helpful. In fact, when we were all packed up, Merry said, “Once Zach starts driving, we won’t need you.” Nothing makes me happier.

It was a great day. We had lots of ladies come over wearing their previously bought BraveHoods. It was a lot of fun. We also used our clothing rack for the first time and it was a big hit! We had a great time and we are going to look for some more cold weather events!
